About Me

I'm a lover-not-a-fighter, amateur songwriter, gardener, former Young Life leader, and occasional adjunct lecturer doing chemical engineering/chemistry for my full time job.

This blog chronicles bits and pieces of my life from the end of my junior year in high school, through college and grad school, to the present. I'll write about whatever I please, thank you very much.

I firmly believe you should never be afraid of an idea that  challenges a paradigm you hold.

My mantra, via Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn:
“Own only what you can always carry with you: know languages, know countries, know people. Let your memory be your travel bag.”
