Radiolab was at the Solid Sound Festival recently and discovered the Brooklyn based band Lucius, which they shared in a recent update to the podcast.
Give them a listen, they're fantastic and soulful and only have one mustache, to their credit, as far as I can tell.
UPDATE: i just had the most lovely opportunity to see them at Calvin last night (5/3/19 sponsored by SAO) and they were as wonderful, talented, and mesmerizing in person. didn't even know they were going to play there but Paula snagged a ticket at the last minute and invited me. Peter played a little Metallica while Jess was talking during an intro and it was freaking adorable.
